Mr. J. Gopalakrishna, Consultant – Aviation Management
Mr.J. Gopalakrishna has worked in both public and private sector for over 35 years and gained extensive experience in the field of Airport Management (Opeartions), Airport Security & Safety, Airport Administration, Business Development, Logistics, Project Management.
He has worked with Airport Authority of India and held senior positions like GM – Department of perations, Flight Safety and Administration. He has also attended advanced Airport Management training at IAMTI, Montreal and a number of seminars/ Workshops in India and abroad conducted by ICAO/IATA/ACI/FAA. He was a visiting faculty member of National Institute of Aviation Management and research, AAI and also at University of Petroleum & Energy Studies. He is on the roster of ICAO experts in the field of Airport Management and Airport Operations.
He has worked with EMAUnihorn (India) Pvt. Ltd.. Infrastructure consultants in Aviation and Highways as Head – Aviation and also as Head – HR & Administration for three years.
He has served Indian Navy for seven years and took active part in Naval Operations In western Sector during Indo-Pak war, 1971.
Mr. Goaplakrishna holds Bachelors Degree in Science and Telecom Engineering, Masters Degree in Public Administration and PG Diploma in Business & Industrial Management. He is a fellow of IETE and Auronautical Society of India and Member of All India Management Association.
Mr. A K Sharma
Mr. Sharma started his career with Steel Authority of India Ltd. (Rourkela Steel Plant) and worked in operation and maintenance of Hot Strip Mill for more than 10 years. During his tenure at Rourkela, Revamping and Modernization of Hot Strip Mill was carried out and he played an active part. Later, he joined MECON Limited, Ranchi as Contracts Engineer and worked for more than 5 years in Project Management of mega steel rolling mill projects of Bokaro Steel Plant (Tandem Mill, DCR Mill & Skin Pass Mill), Bhilai Steel Plant (Rail Mill & Merchant Mill) and Rourkela Steel Plant (CRGO Project) of SAIL. For more than 23 years, he functioned at MECON Delhi Office in various capacities for Contracts Management & Procurement Services for many EPC and Consultancy Projects for various clients in Ferrous, Non-Ferrous Defence, Infrastructure, Oil and Gas Sectors. ONGC, GAIL, IOCL, IGL, GGL, MNGL, BGL, HZL, HCL, MISL & China Steel Corporation were some of the clients for whom the projects were executed. He retired as Dy. General Manager I/C (Contracts), MECON Delhi in April, 2009. He has a total of more than 38 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of steel Rolling Mills, Project Management, Contracts Management & Procurement Services.
He did B.Sc. (Engineering) Mechanical from Delhi University (Delhi College of Engineering) and later his PGDM from All India Management Association, New Delhi. He is a Member of Institution of India and a Chartered Engineer.
Mr. Akhil Chandra, Professor, Logistics & SCM, ILAM
He has a total of 34 years of experience wherein he has worked with brands like Times Group as GM, Dart DSJ Group as President & CEO, ESPL as HOD, SIEMENS as Head of IT & Communication Services. He has been a part of Education Industry too and has been associated with brands like IILM, JIMS, SKY LINE, JAMNA LAL BAJAJ (Mumbai) & IMS. Apart from this, he has taken various trainings and delivered technical and management lectures at the International level.
He did B.Sc. from Allahabad University, B.E. (Honours) Electronics & Communication from IIT Roorkee and finally his MBA - Marketing from Jamna Lal Bajaj Institute, Mumbai. Professor Akhil Chandra is also a Fellow from Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.(IETE). His Articles have been widely published in the Times of India and Economic Times and has also contributed in International Journals.
Mr. Siddhartha Mathur, BBA(Hons.), UK & MBA in International Business(IIFT)
Mr. Siddhartha Mathur is from the Aviation and Logistics & SCM industry domain with over 10 years of professional work experience at various National / International positions with Global organizations like; KLM Cargo, Virgin Atlantic, United Airlines, Bax Global & DHL. In his last role with DHL, he was based in Prague (CZ, Europe) as a Sr. Consultant / Manager Logistics Customer Integration Services for Europe, Middle East & Africa Region. At present, he is the Director of “Logi-FAQs Consulting”, his independent consulting venture.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan Verma, Ph.D Operations Research, IIM - A
Dr. Bhushan is a visiting faculty for Logistics & Supply Chain Management at various Institutes. He holds an NSE certification in financial markets, Mumbai Dr. Bhushan has done his Ph. D in Operations Research from IIM – Ahmedabad, and prior to that he has done his Bachelors and Masters in Physics with specialization in electronics. He is the Founder, Specialists India – All India doctoral student body across IITs & IIMs (500+ members).
Brig. (Retd.) Dr. S.K.Bhattacharyya, Ph. D – Logistics Management Processes and Principles.
With more than 40 years of experience in Military as well as civil side of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Dr. Bhattacharya is surely a mentor for each and every student aspiring to join the logistics industry. He is the founder secretary and later the Vice President of Asian Council of Logistics Management. Dr. Bhattacharayya also has rich experience in the field of education, training & research.
Mr. Bimal K. Shrivastava
Mr. Bimal K. Shrivasatav retired as a General Manager from Airport Authority of India. He has rendered services for 37 years in DGCA & AAI. Mr. Shrivastava has written various books on Aviation & many awards including two from the honourable Prime Minister of India. He has done his B. Tech from IIT, Kanpur and has also given exam of Associate Membership with Aeronautical Society of India.
