Indus University established under the state government ordinance is UGC approved private university in the Western part of Ahmedabad is promoted and managed by Bhandari Charitable Trust, known for its philanthropic activities. It has seven constituent institutes; Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering (IITE), Institute of Design Environment and Architecture (IDEA), Institute of Aviation Technology and Engineering (IATE), Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT), Indus Institute of Management Studies (IIMS) and Indus Institute of Special Studies (IISS) and Indus Center for Research, Innovation and Skill Development (ICRISD). It is situated on a sprawling 16 acres’ campus and it is well connected with the city through different transportation modes.
